The GoTo
Foundation

Mission Statement

"The GoTo Foundation is a non-profit organisation geared towards the improvement of health, well being and education of individuals and groups by assisting to provide essential services for the benefit of all South Australians"

The GoTo Foundation was established in April 2010 by Nick Apostolou, Lewis Pounentis and George Diakomichalis – three proud and passionate South Australians whose focus is to financially assist those who are not as fortunate as others.

By organising a number of various events throughout the year, The GoTo Foundation aims to raise funds for a particular benefactor – chosen carefully by the founders and trustees of the Foundation.

In 2010, the chosen benefactor was the Heart Foundation, focusing on its ‘Go Red for Women’ campaign. Through its first big event – MIRROR BALLS & HAPPY PANTS held in June 2010, The GoTo Foundation raised $10,000.

In late 2010, the trustees decided that their chosen benefactor would be the Flinders University Autism Early Intervention Program (EIRP), headed by Dr Robyn Young.

With three major events in 2011, The GoTo Foundation aims to raise $100,000 for the EIRP – with the bulk of the funds coming from their Melbourne to Adelaide Bike Ride being held from the 16th to the 22nd of October.

We hope to organise many different events to cater for all age groups to show our support for the various organisations requiring financial support to maintain their operations.
